A military base in the Pacific Rim required short-cycle delivery for Live Front Padmounted Switchgear. Custom paint, stainless steel (304L) construction, and switches and fuses that could be integrated with the customer's existing equipment were the challenges presented to Shallbetter.
Meeting the customer's short-cycle, just-in-time delivery date meant building within six weeks. Shallbetter successfully met the deadline, saving the customer warehousing, inventory planning and staging costs. So pleased with the results, the customer has continued to buy Shallbetter equipment, purchasing large quantities of both standard and customer units.
